Pacing Pune, finishing Careless People — December 2025

Dear reader,
December's one race was not mine to win. At the Pune International Marathon I ran the half as a pacer — carrying a pace for other people rather than chasing my own — and it taught me enough that it became a blog post in January.
The reading got heavier. I finished Careless People, Sarah Wynn-Williams' account of power and lost idealism inside a tech giant, and read मेळघाटातील मोहोर, the story of Dr. Ravindra and Dr. Smita Kolhe's work in Melghat. Two very different books about what people do with the reach they have.
The five short posts this month kept returning to rhythm: how anything new starts with friction, and how a morning run is where the thinking gets done. One asked what story we are all trying to weave out of our lives.
On the site, the Books section arrived, with filters for genre, language and author, and the résumé became something you can explore rather than scroll.

- #1362 Well, everything ultimately depends on how thoroughly you choose things and how adamantly you stick with the tough choices.✨ The endeavour to keep doing what the mind thinks is best, demands the tough route, difficult choices and lone thought-corridors!🤞 When thought of, a simple step, stops an endless cycle of vicious loop, just take that with faith that things will turn in when it’s time for them!🌱 Knowing what not to do, whom not to choose, who isn’t the one, does save a lot of time!🤔 The important thing is that you need to self-improve, run that extra mile alone and sustain when all the odds seem zero and hopes fade away!🤹 Just like a marathon, the body gets tired after some distance, it’s the mind that stretches it ahead, bring that studious mind back into the game!🏃 At some point, things just start getting in line!❣️ #3:12:2025::11:36:pm
- #1363 Instilling an ability to look at the simplified versions of perspectives, gives one chance to create that constructive version of reality, which helps to propel the curious self.✨ Things are complex, people judge, everyone is wearing the unseen cloak, hiding the true self inside, most aren’t thinking through stuff, the questions pop up everyday, yet tackling one at a time, helps!🌱 The dilemmas do pop up, things take time to mature, the tough choices seldom provoke one to introspect them, standing with those in such situations matters, one just endures the stuff, pushing the boundaries both at physical and mental level!🧘🏻♀️ There is something called “The North Pole”, some people have qualities, morals, ethics that one wants to have, yet the adoption itself is tedious enough, one just keeps chasing it and the lone journey through various spaces of life, matters and evolve the emotional endurance of the excelling self!🌠 Well, here is something that works for me, decide what to do, most importantly what not to do, plan something, execute it, do monthly rewinds to overview what you have done and just keep the spirits high!🤠 #lifeInTheNutshell❣️ #12:12:2025::10:47:pm
- #1364 Something came up in mind, when I was running in the morning!✨ As you start working on your body, observe those muscle movements, focus on your rhythm, push the limits everyday, the heart beats stabilize over time!❤️ You start listening to body, spend a good quantity of time with you alone for hours without any disturbance, you think through stuff, clear out the dilemmas and just decide what you are going to do!❣️ The efforts put give double returns to you, though you are stressing more, the energy somehow increases!🧘♂️ The ripple effects impact other good things and you enjoy the process :-)🌊 Maybe this is that inner motivation, that’s waking me up every morning, run that planned miles!🏃 #theMotivationForRunning🏃♂️ #16:12:2025::09:10:pm
- #1365 The rhythm is an interesting thing.✨ You start something new, initially there is friction, the stagnant body resists the movement, yet you push harder.🏃♂️ After some time, the body sort of gets into equilibrium. The resistance becomes sort of easy. The movements happen with ease. Then the distance just becomes the number.🧘♂️ Just like that, writing happens, blogging happens, running happens, learning happens!🤍 You keep doing the stuff for some time, then look back at it and realise a lot has happened, the x-factor of the process being the blind faith that something good will churn out of this!❣️ #theRhythmOfStuff #17:12:2025::07:04:pm
- #1366 #TheStoryOfThyLife📑 A subtle thing that I realised is that, we are trying to weave a story, a narrative, a perspective of our own story, the stronger it is, the more persuasive it is, the more influential it seems to be.📑 All the day to day stuff is mundane stuff, somehow you have to be able to look beyond the visible layers of complexity involving emotions, goals, work, etc, and bring out the meaningful layer of purpose, dignity, self-awareness.🌱 This realisation itself isn’t easy to strike unless you look at the vast canvas of the lives of great people.🖼️ Slowly, continuously, consistently, they keep doing stuff, not bothered by disturbances in the physical and digital world, controlling the stuff they intake and process.✨ When looked upon, it seems they are focused, have a clear understanding of what they are doing, and that’s something one wants to be at!🤍 So, what matters, is, you have to introspect, analyse your own way, your own path forward!🏞️ Obviously, this isn’t easy, not something that everyone strives for, on this lone adventure, you have to endure thy own story!❣️ #18:12:2025::08:35:am
