A bilingual, offline-first web app that Yung foundation fellows use to enrol village students, record their year-by-year academic history, and spot dropouts early — from any phone, with or without a signal.
Problem: Yung Foundation fellows enrol village students in places with no reliable mobile signal. Records lived in paper registers, so a child who stopped attending was noticed months later — or not at all.
Solution: A bilingual, offline-first web app that fellows use on their own phones. Enrolment and year-by-year academic history sync when a signal returns, and the portal flags students whose attendance pattern predicts a dropout.
Outcome: In use by fellows in the field. The dropout signal is the part that matters: it turns a record-keeping system into something that changes an outcome.
