Half marathon, AI, and Walden — October 2025

21 km raced, 1 book, 2 posts written

Dear reader,

October ran on two tracks side by side. On one, the road: the PIM Super Sunday 21K, and a short post to remind myself that a quick run fixes more than it has any right to. On the other, AI — the Bharat AI Quest at IIT Bombay, the Politics and Policy of AI capsule course finished, and AI 2041 read and reviewed.

In between, the Symbiosis Literary Festival and a talk on Across the Himalaya, the first trans-Himalayan journey made by women, pulled me back towards stories told slowly. So did Walden, in Jayant Kulkarni's Marathi translation, which found its way into a short post of its own.

Twelve short posts this month, several of them written late under clear night skies, most of them circling one question: where does my energy actually go? One asked it outright — is it going into the scroll?
